Genna & Matt’s Dream Philadelphia Wedding

Fall always gives me the nostalgic feels. Give me a pumpkin spice latte, cool weather, and sweet photos to edit, and I’m in heaven. One of my favorite fall weddings was Genna and Matt’s wedding at the most luxurious venue, The Logan Philadelphia. Genna and Matt are Jewish and had an amazing traditional ceremony that truly embodied the heart of Philly.

The Logan Philadelphia: A Millennial Masterpiece

The Logan Philadelphia opened its doors in fall of 2015 and began its climb to one of the top luxury hotels and wedding venues in Philadelphia. Formerly the Four Seasons, the Logan truly has everything you could want as a wedding guest or bride (or groom)-to-be. With several options for delicious food, a rooftop bar with panoramic views, and a fully equipped spa and wellness center, time spent at The Logan feels like a vacation, but with all the right elements to feel like you’re home in Philly.

An Extravagant Event

There was a lot to love about Genna and Matt’s wedding from their incredible planners from the House of Catherine to the dreamy florals from Always Beautiful Florals.  I’ve been a part of lots of weddings, from DIYs to full on luxury, and they all bring their unique magic and charm. Genna and Matt’s event was no exception.

We had so much fun finding sweet spots to take photos and capturing their special day. I especially love doing photos that provide a sense of place, like dancing in an expertly designed venue, kissing on a street corner or near an iconic Philly landmark.
