HollyHedge Estate in New Hope, PA is an absolute dream. It’s rustic charm and rich history makes it an absolutely stunning venue for all seasons. Jennifer and Taylor’s wedding was no exception.

About HollyHedge Estate

HollyHedge Estate is a gorgeous property owned by the Luccaro Family. They have owned the property for 30 years and have turned it in to the charming wedding venue that it is today. Prior to the Luccaro family owning the property, it was a private estate built in in the 1780’s, right on the Delaware River. In the 1930’s, the property was owned by the Kearney family, who created English style gardens throughout the grounds. Those gardens are still there today and make for a beautiful backdrop for photos. It the 1960’s, HollyHedge even hosted an arts academy! Throughout its rich history, The HollyHedge property was full of love, care, and an artistic flair, which makes it the truly special place it is today.

A Winter Wedding at HollyHedge

Jennifer and Taylor chose a December wedding at HollyHedge. Their wedding was formal, classy, and elegant. We were lucky to get some lovely golden hour shots in the garden with that showcased Jennifer’s gorgeous dress from Kinfolk Bride. I absolutely loved Jennifer’s off the shoulder dress for their classy winter wedding. Even the winter, HollyHedge Estate offers lots of places for unique natural backdrops. When I first met Jennifer, part of her connection with my work was the vibrancy of color she noticed.  She chose a magnificent motif of dark purple that added a stunning contrast to the whole day.

Artistic, Classic. & Romantic

Jennifer, Taylor, and I connected over an appreciation for the artsy photos in addition to the posed photos in weddings. We were mindful about getting of a variety of images. As Jennifer made clear— our goal was to achieve both classic and romantic imagery throughout the day. Not to mention, Lauren of BeLovely Floral took the idea of winter wedding contrast to a new level.

The rustic, historic experience continues through the morning with their cozy spaces and lovely views. They also grow food onsite and have an executive chef on staff, so the food and service does not disappoint. With its location in New Hope, it’s perfect for Philadelphia couples who want to get out the city and for out-of-town guests visiting the area.

HollyHedge has a dedicated pastry chef on staff. The cake was gorgeous, and really reflected the style and feel of Jennifer and Taylor’s wedding. And I hear it was absolutely delicious!

Jennifer and Taylor chose BeLovely Floral to be their wedding florist. I love how the way she made the arrangements feel lush and wintery, but still incorporated vibrancy and contrast!  HollyHedge Estate Photographer

Jennifer and Taylor had a beautiful unity candle moment as a part of their ceremony. The ceremony space was filled with real candles and it made it feel warm and magical.
