Emily and Troy found me through Instagram and reached out about shooting their Sea Isle engagement session on the beaches of Sea Isle City, NJ. I love a good beach shoot, so this was a match made in heaven!
Sea Isle Engagement
Emily and Troy have a second home in Sea Isle City, so it made it the perfect place for their engagement session. The sunrises over the beach in Sea Isle are absolutely stunning, so we knew that the early morning session would be worth it. I loved how Emily’s dress complemented the warm morning light and reflections on the water.
Sunrise sessions are great for lots of reasons. Not only do you get the perfect glowing light, but if you’re planning to shoot in a popular place (like beaches of Sea Isle), you don’t have to worry about finding a quiet spot or people getting in the way of your photos. The beach on the morning of this session was quiet and peaceful.
If you haven’t yet been to Sea Isle City, I highly recommend it! It’s a gorgeous beach town in southern New Jersey. There’s lots to do for the whole family and endless views of the Atlantic Ocean. During the summer months, it’s a busy place, so make sure you plan for crowds and get your beach tags ahead of time.
About Emily & Troy
Emily and Troy are true Philadelphians. They are diehard Philly sports fans with season tickets to the Eagles stadium and a French bulldog named “Harper” after Bryce Harper. They met as college students at Kutztown University, connected a few years later, and the rest is history!
Having grown up in the Philadelphia area, I connected with Emily and Travis right away. We had a great time during their engagement shoot and took some really beautiful pictures.
From Sea Isle to Aldie Mansion
Emily and Troy had their wedding venue booked shortly after their engagement. They picked the historic Aldie Mansion in Doylestown, PA. After their engagement session, I couldn’t wait for their wedding! Look for their pictures in an upcoming blog!
Holiday Engagements
Tis the season for engagements! Troy proposed to Emily in front of their Christmas tree on Christmas eve! 🥲If you’re recently engaged and planning your engagement photography session in the Philadelphia area, please reach out! I’d love to help document your story.
