A Spotlight on the John James Audubon Center
If you’ve never been to the John James Audubon Center, I highly recommend it. With over 200 acres of woods, rolling hills, and peaceful meadows, it makes a great place for hiking and birding. The property also includes a museum, historic farmhouse, and outdoor pavilion that is available for weddings. My clients who have gotten married at the John James Audubon Center talk about the beautiful options for indoor and outdoor areas, delicious food from JAM Catering, and the rustic charm. As a photographer, I love all of the options for great photos, inside and outside the farmhouse.
Bonus: This venue is just about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia, which makes it a great spot for traveling guests!
More than just a great wedding venue
The John James Audubon Center is more than just a great place to get married, it also has lots of unique history. It’s the original home of famous wildlife painter John James Audubon, whose work inspired the formation of the Audubon Society. Audubon is committed to the conservation of wildlife and the lands they inhabit, with their main focus being on birds. So, getting married at John James Audubon is an investment of wildlife conservation, in addition to being a picturesque wedding venue.
Annie and Eric’s Wedding at John James Audubon Center
Annie and Eric planned a modern and elegant wedding at James Audubon. These two have known each other since high school and are all about adventuring together. The James Audubon center was the perfect place for their classic wedding, and their awesome vendor team made it a magical day.

A Day full of Love
Annie and Eric are truly a fun-loving couple! Their day was full of lots of laughter and smiles that made photographing their wedding an absolute dream. Their wedding was full of personal touches that made it feel uniquely them, from the all-white floral to the signature cocktail named after their sweet dog Jackson.
It was such a pleasure to be part of Annie & Jackson’s day, and I can only hope to photograph their next milestone in the future.
